WORLD ARCHITECTURE
AWARD WINNING ARCHITECTS
FEARON HAY

For nearly two decades, Fearon Hay has created extraordinary buildings and residences. The practice’s expertise and capabilities have received extensive acclaim both at home and abroad. Based in Auckland, New Zealand, Fearon Hay consistently seeks to redesign space in its most functional yet aesthetically pleasing forms. The results are timeless yet modern; minimalist yet luxurious.

Established almost two decades ago by Jeff Fearon and Tim Hay, Fearon Hay’s approach involves intensive research into the cultural, social and environmental contexts of each project. Both its commercial and residential work is renowned for combining classic design principles with a fluid approach to the natural world. Fearon Hay’s philosophy is that great architecture or design should reflect or celebrate something fundamental and unique about its environment. This philosophy feeds into their pragmatic concern with how a space will be occupied, what functions it will fulfill, and what feelings it will inspire.

Triumphing across two categories at the World Architecture Festival (WAF) in 2014 and recipients of the prestigious NZIA New Zealand Architecture Medal in 2013, Fearon Hay has won multiple tenders to design and realize buildings of public significance. Now, the practice’s one-off collaboration with Jacmax brings timeless architectural design to Brighton. The consistently high-calibre of Fearon Hay’s work is upheld with Lindsay, a modern yet timeless tribute to elegance, simplicity and efficiency.
